solution. Position Summary: Pharmacy Technician prepares compounded
sterile products and performs related activities under the
direction of a pharmacist . Responsibilities: Essential Duties *
Adheres to all CAPS policies and procedures * Prepares compounded
sterile products using aseptic technique. * Assists in the setup of
the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for preparation of
compounded sterile solutions, using aseptic technique. * Performs
general cleaning and maintenance duties as directed. * Participates
in cleanroom product introduction activities. * Prepares records
and monitors results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
Level II additionally may: * Assist in training/mentoring of new IV
Technicians as assigned The job function listed is not exhaustive
and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the
Supervisor from time to time. Expertise: Knowledge & Skills *
Requires working knowledge of technical field/area of
specialization. * Exercises general application of principles,
theories and concepts. * Follows established procedures and
guidelines. * Works under direct supervision and from detailed
verbal and/or written instructions. * Uses established procedures
to accomplish assigned task. * May require some limited judgement
in resolving problems. * Contacts are primarily with direct
supervisor, peers and subordinates. Expertise: Qualifications
-Education/Experience/Training/Etc Required: * High school
diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required. * 0-02 years related
experience required. * Valid Pharmacy Technician state license
issued by the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy * Valid Phamacy
Technician national certification from the PTCB or NHA ExCPT
Schedule is (8AM to 4:30PM) Monday- Friday and every other weekend
rotating. Holidays/overtime as required Salary range is $20.23 -
$26.50/hr IND123 The targeted range for this role takes into
account a range of factors that are considered when making
compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to:
skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications;
and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range
estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic
differential associated with the location at which the position may
be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and
circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable
