Job Summary:The Head of Sales Canada manages a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) and is responsible for their development in becoming successful in their territories. Success includes aligning to and hitting strategic goals set by the company. The Head of Sales Canada is also responsible for hiring and performance management of the team. This is all done collaborating and communicating with the Vice President of Canada. Primary Functions:Collaborate as a member of the Sales Leadership Team to define the North American national sales strategy designed to accomplish Collette's strategic objectives each year.Establish a scheduled management rhythm, articulate, and assist with the individual tactics BDMs are required to execute to accomplish the national strategic goals in their sales territories.Evaluate the success of each BDM based on sales metrics and strategic planning.Lead the ongoing training and skills development of BDMs by identifying areas of weakness and working with the Manager of Sales Development and Education to address training needs.Assist in the professional development of BDMs in collaboration with Sales and Leadership Coach to address coaching and development opportunitiesServe as a voice for Outside Sales and communication strategy in various Liaison roles with other departments.Collaborate with the Customer Experience (CX) Team to be an advocate for the guest and to make sure the guest experience is at the forefront of corporate decision making.Maintain strong relationships with the highest revenue accounts in the region.Assess "at risk" accounts in the region and assist in overcoming challengesKnowledge and Skills: Bachelor's Degree required3-5 years' experience requiredStrategic and Critical ThinkingStrong relationship building and negotiation skillsKnowledge of market trends and competitive landscapeDemonstrated leadership skills to motivate and mentor staffWell - developed oral and written communication/presentation skillsProactive, positive, and professional approach and demeanorProven track record of sales successComputer Skills (Excel, CRM, Word, Hub)Travel Requirements:Sales and Regional MeetingsSales Leadership MeetingsOn road with BDMs as needed FAM tripsPresident's Club
