Job Description:
Role Summary: As a CDL Driver you will be responsible for safely
transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring all
deliveries are made on time and in good condition. This position
operates on both an interstate and intrastate basis. You will also
be expected to maintain a professional appearance and attitude at
all times.Job ResponsibilitiesSafely operate and drive a
tractor-trailer in all types of weather conditionsAdhere to all
applicable traffic laws, safety regulations, and Department of
Transportation (DOT) regulationsInspect, maintain, and repair
vehicles as requiredLoad and unload cargo safely and securely,
frequently using a forkliftSafely connect and disconnect trailers
and piggyback forkliftsKeep electronic and/or paper vehicle logs
and records of cargo as required by law or requested by
companyComplete paperwork accurately and timelyPerform pre-trip and
post-trip inspections of the vehicleReport any mechanical or other
problems with the vehicle to the Regional Logistics Coordinator or
assigned Dispatcher, troubleshoot minor problemsFollow delivery
instructions and delivery schedules from Dispatch and
ManagementUtilize GPS navigation, paper maps, road signs and other
navigational itemsEnsure all product deliveries are signed for and
proof of delivery is turned in dailyUnderstand the product and item
numbers to not deliver incorrect items or quantitiesCommunicate any
problems or delays to Regional Logistics Coordinator, assigned
Dispatcher, or Store ManagerMaintain a courteous and professional
attitude when interacting with customersProvide prompt, courteous
customer serviceMaintain company vehicles which includes keeping it
clean, knowing when the maintenance is due and notifying proper
people when maintenance is requiredFueling and unloading truck at
the end of each day so it is ready for the next dayMaintain
receipts pertaining to fuel purchases made on the company fuel
cardOccasional travel away from home overnightOther duties as

Job QualificationsValid CDL license and Medical CardClean driving
record1 year of CDL driving experienceAbility to pass a background

primarily performed inside a truck which may be climate controlled
but may require some time outside in the elements when securing a
load or performing pre- and post-trip inspections or assisting in
yard. Employee will encounter weather when driving and working in
the yard, which may include rain, snow, sleet, a wide range of
temperatures from very cold to very hot. Yards can be dusty, dirty,
poorly lit and have uneven surfaces. Position Type/Expected Hours
of WorkThis is a full-time position, requiring a standard 40-hour
workweek. Hours may fluctuate based on season, with weekend work
and occasional overtime required based on business
needs.Compensation details: 27-30 Hourly
