Job Description:

Job Responsibilities: Work from route sheets, order forms and verbal & written instructions Process material following all safety guidelines Maintain orders for shipping1. Visually inspect all parts/pieces for any defects2. Processes paperwork regarding UPS/Fedex shipments including: verifying that the merchandise to be shipped is correct, applying the correct UPS postage tape, following customer shipping instructions and insuring the shipment when necessary.3. Verifies quantities and items being shipped against the invoice. Perform general warehouse functions when not involved in shipping activities.Qualifications/SkillsPrior related shipping experience in a machine/job shop or a manufacturing environment.Computer literate in Microsoft office (including email), ERP Systems, UPS World Ship/FedEx On line, Document Control, and other databases. Able to learn additional programs as needed.High school diploma or GED preferred.Must be able to read, write, and interpret English.General knowledge of components used in the manufacture of Cable, PCB and Integrated Assemblies.Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements.Able to meet deadlines.
