Handle Toxic Tort, Environmental, Pollution, and Asbestos claims of moderate to high value and complexity.

*** Analyze coverage, liability, and damages.

*** Draft reservation of rights and coverage denial letters.

*** Determine exposure and set appropriate reserves.

*** Review complaints and other legal pleadings and discovery.

*** Participate in mediations and negotiate settlements.

*** Direct activities of defense counsel.

*** Draft case summary reports for significant reserve increases and trial preparation.

*** Notify underwriting department of claim issues.
