JOB SUMMARY
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Business & Technical Management Career Path (AcqDemo only) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located at HQ, Communications Electronics Command, Software Engineering Center.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Serve as a developer for the development of complicated interactive automated technical data management system applications and their implementation.
Develop new approaches, techniques and coordination to support system integration and test efforts.
Provide expert technical advice, guidance and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues
Build and implement testing plans and procedures for new or existing SAP development components.

Perform complex functional and technical trouble shooting to resolve production and performance support issues.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. To qualify you must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below based on the grade level required of the position being filled: 1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2) Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3) Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4) Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to the competencies listed above, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (NH-02/GS-11) in the Federal service which includes: 1) Developing clear and consistent documentation and procedures of SAP core ECC ABAP, BOBJ, JAVA,PI, or Portal development activities; 2) Building and implementing testing plans and procedures for new or existing SAP development components; and 3) Participating in SAP core ECC, ABAP, BOBJ, JAVA, or PI design sessions for SAP system upgrades ,patches, SAP OSS notes execution, or new functionality and enhancement assessments. This position may be subject to organizational compensation limits as identified in the organization's CCAS business rules or separate compensation management strategy. This position is subject to the NH-03 Non-Supervisory Journey Professional control point of the CECOM Control Point Policy.This non-supervisory position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-13, step 5 base salary.
