What We are Seeking:
We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator, for a remote/work from home position, to plan and oversee a wide variety of construction projects from beginning to end.

He/She will be working primarily with our scheduling department, construction planners, sales team, and field supervisors, as well as engineers, architects, and city permitting offices as needed.

Compensation: $50k - $65K annually, depending upon experience plus a performance-based bonus.

Construction Project Coordinator Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the construction team to build the project safely, high quality, on budget, and on schedule
  • Ensure materials and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule
  • Prepare reports regarding the job status
  • Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and key team members of the project team
  • Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements
  • Monitor and manage client, design team, and contractor correspondence during construction
  • Keep the project team motivated and content to ensure all team members are producing all that is possible for the betterment of the project
  • Represent the interests of the client
  • Monitor master schedule, overall budget, and quality
  • Review master project schedule to make sure that we are meeting the milestone dates and developing recovery plans to meet the dates

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of overall project development in all of its phases and steps
  • Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly


Construction Project Coordinator Job Requirements:

  • PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset
  • Understanding of and/or previous work experience in project management
  • Highly organized
  • Of High Integrity
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Understanding of construction management processes
  • Able to plan ahead
  • Familiar with scheduling software programs
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources
  • Conflict resolution and conflict management experience
  • Excellent time management ability
  • Able to multitask with a strong understanding of core manager duties
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skills
  • Preferred, but not required:  BS/BA degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field
