your potential? The Position The Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient
(API) Planning Associate will support completion of planning
activities and PAS-X/SAP related projects. He/she will work with
Planners, Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality Control, MSAT, and
Engineering to support and improve the planning processes across
the site. Relationships Reports to: According to the organizational
chart Number of subordinates with direct/indirect referral: N/A
Essential Functions Update data in planning systems such as SAP,
OMP, and RTMSto ensure integrityAssist with updating SAP Material
Master Data, including BoMs, master recipes, production versions,
and resourcesParticipate and partner with PAS-X, SAP, OMP and shop
floor planning project teams on master data and system
adoptionAnalyze and apply resolutions for material availability,
capacity availability, and order promise integrityCreate reports
and automation models using available dataEnsure effective
communication with both internal and external stakeholdersSupport
internal/external Logistics teams to maintain site capacity data,
future state objectives, and schedule controlImplement LEAN & flow
in the plant, proactively, show a LEAN mindsetInterface with
Production, Quality Control and Facilities to assist API Planning
activitiesEnsure a smooth and effective flow of information to the
Warehouse in order to maintain proper levels of inventoryPerforms
all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical
manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws,
regulations, and industry codesIncorporates the Novo Nordisk Way
and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with
othersOther duties as assigned Physical Requirements 0-10%
overnight travel required. The ability to climb. Stoop, kneel,
crouch, reach, and walk. The ability to pull, lift, finger, and
grasp. The ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal and
written communication. Repetition including substantial movement of
wrists, hands, and or fingers. While performing this job employee
work involves sitting most of the time with walking and standing
required only occasionally. This position may lift up to 20 pounds
occasionally and 10 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or
otherwise move objects. Visual acuity to perform close activities
such as: reading, writing, and analyzing; and to determine the
accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned or to make
general observations. The working environment includes a variety of
physical conditions, working in narrow aisles, and temperature
changes. Qualifications Education and CertificationsAssociate’s
degree in related field or equivalent training/experience required
Work ExperienceAssociate’s degree with two (2) plus years of
experience in production planning, material planning, maintenance
planning or related field or equivalent combination of education
and experience requiredSAP ECC experience requiredAdditional
experience with maintenance or shop floor planning
preferredExperience with manufacturing execution systems, i.e.,
PAS-X requiredExperience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry
required. Focus on API or fill preferredProven process improvement
& problem-solving skillsProject team experience preferredProject
management experience a plus Knowledge, Skills, and
AbilitiesKnowledge of Cgmp’s, ISO and FDA requirements a plusAble
to develop and manage action plans to achieve targetsMust be
detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills as well as
excellent oral and written communication skillsMust be
self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal
supervisionProven ability to effectively interface with suppliers
and knowledge of computerized inventory and MRP systems, word
