Job Description Locum Radiation Oncologist to help with ongoing coverage starting October 2024 through summer 2025 Practice Setting: inpatient and outpatient Reason for Coverage: gaps while we recruit Dates of Coverage: October 2024 through summer 2025 Call Ratio: every other week Number of Physicians in Practice: 2 Will There be Other Radiation Oncologists Present During Locum Tenens Coverage? yes How Many APPs Provide Coverage? 1 Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT (Clinic/Office) : 25 Average Number of Patients Per Day - INPATIENT (Call/Rounding) : variable 1 per week Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, Office/Clinic, Hospital Based Documentation System/EMR: meditech/ mosaiq Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days approx. Provider Must be local - only mileage is reimbursed Required Procedures: - Conventional Radiotherapy - 3D Radiotherapy - 3D conformal, IMRT, SBRT and SRS (No brachy needed) - External Beam Radiation - 3D-CRT - External Beam Radiation - IGRT - External Beam Radiation - IMRT - Stereotactic Radiosurgery - Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) - Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy Required Duties: - Orders Tests - Orders Images - Prescribes
