Details - Position is based in a hospital Endoscopy Unit with oversight responsibilities that also extend to Interventional Radiology - 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week - No on-call requirements - 13-week contract Requirements - Active MA RN license currently in hand - Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience within the endoscopy specialty area - 3–5 years of supervisory or assistant manager experience preferred - Two professional references required for consideration - Copies of current certifications required for consideration Additional Information - The Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour accountability for the management of the Endoscopy Unit and Interventional Radiology, including assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care - Oversees a multidisciplinary team including RNs, CNAs, Patient Care Assistants, and Unit Secretaries - Responsible for ensuring delivery of quality services and that professional nursing is practiced in accordance with established standards - Strong assistant manager candidates may be considered with approval - Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be subject to a local pay rate American Traveler Job ID P-677546.
