Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Nantucket, MA. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who thrives in a fast?paced environment and is confident caring for patients experiencing life?threatening conditions. Job Function: /n - Day Shift or Night Shift. /n - 3x12. /n - Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients with critical, life?threatening conditions requiring rapid assessment and high?intensity interventions /n - Provide emotional support, education, and clear communication to patients and families during emergency situations /n - Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, recognizing when early intervention is needed /n - Prepare patients for surgery, imaging, and diagnostic procedures /n - Perform essential emergency procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, blood draws, and airway support (intubation assistance) /n - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Active Massachusetts RN License (required upon start) /n /n - BLS – Required /n /n - ACLS – Required /n /n - PALS – Required /n /n - EPIC experience preferred /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
