Qualifications Coordinates and facilitates the expedient
appropriated placement of patients. Has daily oversight of the
throughput of patients from admission to discharge. Secures
information of bed status on a unit-to-unit basis, including
potential discharges, through walking rounds. Coordinates the
discharge of patients (impacting a decline in loss and creating
beds) with in-patient case management, discharge planning, and
available assessment staff. Coordinates the placement and
throughput of behavioral health patients. Performs admissions,
transfers, and discharges to facilitate patient throughput.
Communicates effectively and professionally with customers and
presents self in a professional manner. Communicates routinely, and
as requested, with management and leadership staff. Communicates
admission information as required. Promotes and supports the goals
and objectives of the organization. Facilitates processing of
deceased patients for daily morgue check. Serves as backup for the
Nursing Supervisor as needed Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
(NVCI), required EXPERIENCE Required – Five years current nursing
experience, with two years of leadership experience Required –
Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing BSN Preferred, MSN
