will conduct an interview\r\n\r\nJob Description:\r\nUnit: 5N
Postpartum \r\nShift: Nights, 7:00pm-7:30am (NO block scheduling).
\r\nFloating Required: No \r\nMust have acute care
experience.\r\nMust work every other weekend.\r\nMust work every
other major holiday.\r\nFlu vaccine required during
season.\r\nScrub Color: Scrubs are provided.\r\nOrientation:
Hospital system wide orientation 3 days; 3 days on unit.\r\nOn-Call
Requirements: Not required; they do call for volunteers to cover
vacant shifts, if needed.\r\n\r\nUnit Specifics:\r\nCommon patient
diagnosis: Post vaginal delivery; post c-section delivery;
intermittent post-partum magnesium or postpartum hemorrhage
\r\nRequired Drips & Medications: IV antibiotics; IV magnesium
intermittently, PRBC; rhogam, lovenox\r\nSpecialty Equipment: Welch
Allyn blood pressure; Nihon Khoden; venodynm machine; IV pump;
panda warmer; Medela Breast pump\r\nPatients: Newborn\r\nNumber of
Beds in the Unit: 13 Postpartum and 4 Continuing Care Nursery
\r\n\r\nSubmission Requirements:\r\nUp to date resume that includes
1 year(s) of experience in Postpartum. Travel experience preferred;
willing to accept first time travelers. \r\n2 recent Charge
RN/Manager/Supervisor references matching specialty\r\nSkills
Checklist matching specialty\r\nDrivers licenses with address that
matches demographics\r\nCurrent AHA BLS & NRP required. Lactation
certification preferred. \r\nNURSYS Verification Report with ACTIVE
MA RN license; must show ALL licenses (past or present) pulled
within the last 7 days\r\nRTO must be included at time of
submission; it will not be guaranteed after confirmation.\r\nEMR
Exp Preferred: EPIC Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly Contract Weeks:90 5
