Catholic Medical Center invites applications for the position of Sonographer within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of ultrasonic imaging devices, patient management, and safety protocols, maintaining compassionate interaction with patients and adherence to our commitment to community health and wellness. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring efficient and safe use of the apparatus in various diagnostic procedures. Collaborate with physicians to assess, diagnose, and plan future care requirements for patients based on ultrasonic findings. Record, report, and store ultrasound findings, delivering comprehensive details to aid medical personnel. Ensure a comforting, secure environment for patients during procedures, explaining methodologies and addressing any concerns. Maintain patient records and process, adhering to all healthcare regulations and privacy laws. Continually update clinical knowledge in sonography, participating in education initiatives and workshops provided by the medical center. Proficient in using and interpreting various ultrasound imaging equipment. Strong organizational and communicative skills. Ability to provide empathetic patient care in a clinical setting. Capable of working collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
