Job Description:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

The Program Nurse is responsible for the initial and on-going assessment of clients. The Program Nurse develops, implements and evaluates a plan of care for assigned clients. Provision of care by the Program Nurse includes delivery of direct care as well as the supervision of client care delivered by Program Aides. The Program Nurse acts on behalf of the Program Director in his/her absence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor of Science in nursing from an accredited institution

Experience: Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in a geriatric, clinical setting with supervisory responsibilities.

Licensure: Current RN or LPN License in Rhode Island

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Criminal background check
