Job Description:

Provides senior executive
vision direction operational leadership and administration of all programs and services of Company and related
corporate entities ensuring the
achievement of key business objectives and the provision of quality economical
health care services and related lines of business. Responsibilities: Provide
leadership direction and administration of day to day operations. Review operating results of the organization
compare them to established objectives and take steps to ensure that
appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results. Primary role is one of coordination and
planning for the Company management team. Collaborate with all levels of
management and staff to maintain program alignment with Company's Mission and
Vision statements. Monitor management issues that relate to all functions of
programs and services. Provide leadership in developing effective
communications and a management meeting structure to engage staff and share the
organizational vision. Foster the development of a results-oriented management
team expected to lead by example and coach personnel at all levels to identify
and act collaboratively on opportunities in support of Companys mission. Provide leadership and
direction in the formulation and implementation of programs and services to
maximize resources and improve productivity and quality. Develop and assess
annual goals and objectives implementation of objectives and participation in
strategic planning. Assist in the development of operations budgets goals
service plans and capital plans. Establish new directions strategies and community-based
sites for the expanded delivery of Companys services programs and centers of
excellence and related educational and operational initiatives in support of
the Company mission and key business initiatives. Provide for family-focused customer- and
community-based planning and execution in identifying and cultivating new or
expanded services such that Company maintains self-sufficiency. Achieve maximum profitability
and service quality ensuring the organizations long-term fiscal success by
optimizing operational efficiencies and actively pursuing opportunities for
inter-institutional integration and cooperation. Foster collaborative
relationships with Company physician leadership quality human resources information
services finance and administration. Effectively
partner with the VP of Finance for Company. Review all administrative
reports as they relate to Company programs and services presented to the Board
of Directors President and all outside state and federal agencies. In partnership with Human Resources
oversee management of Companys human capital and the recruitment selection
development coaching and mentoring of the entire workforce such that the
attraction and retention of highly engaged and committed employees is realized. Direct the comprehensive assessment
and planning of all client services and implements quality enhancements and
improved efficiency through the optimal utilization of Companys resources and
assets. Communicate the
organizational vision to internal and external stakeholders. Provide continuous
education to the organization through various governance and management
councils and other forums advising constituencies of Companys operational and
financial performance and interpreting the affect and potential impact of
external influences on Company and system. Direct
develop and oversee the management of quality at Company and ensuring
compliance with applicable regulations reporting and payer requirements and
the standards of accrediting bodies through the continuous monitoring of
operations patient satisfaction and clinical quality improvement indicators
as well as the attainment of quality benchmarks. Collaboratively develop
and maintain constructive liaisons and working relationships with the public
and constituencies such as the Rhode Island Department of Behavioral Health
Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals (BHDDH) and the Rhode Island
Department for Children Youth and Families (DCYF) in furthering the mission of
Company and the highest standards of health care and related community
services. Monitor management issues as they relate to contracts with state
agencies and managed care companies etc. Prepare and present periodic reports
and various other information depicting the operational financial management
and organizational status and performance of Company to the governing and
regulatory bodies. Represent
Company at national state and local meetings and conferences or conventions
as required articulating trends in
patient care delivery administration and related issues. KEY COMPETENCIES: The organizational and
executive abilities to plan and accomplish the organizations objectives
through exhibiting a broad understanding of and applied skills in matters
related to the provision of comprehensive healthcare services including the
various health care modalities and settings such as non-acute acute
ambulatory and emergency services and the like; the financial and reimbursement
mechanisms and healthcare resources; and regulatory requirements and related
influences in the industry. The
unrelenting drive to champion customer and client/patient satisfaction
initiatives continuous quality improvement and operational changes to optimize
goal attainment. Demonstrate leadership abilities
in developing a successful organization recognized for the attainment of its
mission in alignment with the actual and anticipated service and programmatic
needs of the service area and extensive success in the executive management. Exhibit
highly developed interpersonal behaviors and team leadership skills reflective
of Companys values to instill confidence in and broad-based support for
Companys mission among board members medical staff employees and the
community and to effectively influence collaborate with and persuade Companys
constituents patients and other stakeholders individually and
collectively. Knowledge and experience in
management of community mental health organizations Apply creative abilities that
have led to the achievement of enhanced productivity new program development
and the attainment of key objectives essential to Companys long-term viability
and quality orientation including the development and operational integration
of programs services and activities. Other information: QUALIFICATIONS-EDUCATION: Master degree in Clinical
Science and/or Healthcare Administration equivalent experience will be
considered. Clinical training preferred QUALIFICATIONS-EXPERIENCE: At least ten years of health
care operations management experience in the health care field preferably in a comparable health
care organization. SUPERVISION: Executive management
responsibility for all Company employees including finance clinical and
operations.
