Our ideal candidate can flourish with minimal guidance and is able to navigate uncertainty and ambiguityBuild and track NPI program schedules, budgets, and labor requirements.Work directly with the Hardware team to release new hardware on time and on budgetAct as the key interface between Hardware engineering and Acacia's other organizationsProvide timely project status to senior management and cross functional teamsContribute to Hardware engineering process definition, improvements, and documentationMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors in relevant field with a minimum +8 years of hardware program/project management experience, or Master's +6 years of hardware program/project management experience, or +3 years of hardware program/project management experience, with at least 5+ years of direct HW management experienceHigh-speed electrical hardware design and/or management experience is essential for the roleHardware design flow from concept to release experience, including hardware product design life cycle and best practicesProject management experience for large multi-disciplinary engineering projects (Budgets, labor, schedules, etc.)Hardware design product life cycle experienceHardware engineering and ISO process documentation experienceExperience managing groundbreaking networking hardware products and governing standardsPreferred Qualifications:Experience delivering leading edge hardware for a networking or related communications companyExperience presenting complex technical details to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience leading teams, making decisions, and risk planningExperience with conflict resolution in an engineering product development environmentExperience working with multiple stakeholder groups#WeAreCisco where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.Our passion is connection-we celebrate our employees' diverse set of backgrounds and focus on unlocking potential.
