By providing a comprehensive review of audit work papers and financial statements you will be helping to mentor your team as you keep an eye on quality, thoroughness and accuracy. You will work to keep lines of communication open with both staff and clients while anticipating, addressing, and escalating client concerns as they arise. Since Tighe, Kress & Orr, PC (TKO) employees strive to provide thorough customer service to all our clients, you will be charged with recognizing opportunities to increase the level and types of TKO services your clients would find beneficial.Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree in AccountingActive CPA licenseMinimum of 5+ years current or recent experience in public accounting in an audit/assurance functionSolid understanding of industry specific audit issues relating to organizational issues and attest services in any of the following areas; financial statement audit (Non-for-profit, governmental & For profit, preferred), regulatory compliance, due diligence and structuring, process and controls, or assertions and agreementsGeneral knowledge of FASB & GASB regulations and GAAPStrong financial statement audit backgroundExperience leading and mentoring teamsAble to develop, grow and maintain strong client relationshipsPreferred Qualifications:Creative Solutions experience preferredEngagement and PPC experienceQuickBooks Experience preferredPayroll and sales tax experience preferredGood computer skills (word, excel, internet)Excellent communication skills, accuracy, and attention to detailMust have a good personality, good at taking feedback and overall pleasantExperience working in a small to mid-sized accounting firmBase Salary: $150,000 - $170,000
