Job Description:
An established acute care medical center located just outside of
the Greater Boston region is currently searching for an experienced
Part Time RN Emergency Department Case Manager to join their
ward-winning healthcare team.This acute care medical center is home
to nearly 150-beds and provides a wide range of inpatient and
outpatient medical and surgical services. This state-of-the-art
medical facility is equipped to offer a variety of services
including emergency and urgent care, primary care, perioperative
services, oncology, pediatrics, and women's health services. This
not-for-profit system is proud to provide compassion local care
that consistently exceeds patients' expectations.The Part Time RN
Emergency Department Case Manager will work within a
multidisciplinary group of patients, families, legal
representatives, social workers, physicians, and internal teams.
The RN Emergency Department Case Manager will be accountable for
evaluating, organizing RN Emergency Department Case Manager will
achieve efficient, cost effective results through early assessment
of pre-admission level of care, post-hospital discharge needs,
review of available resources, and timely communication with the
healthcare team and patients.The Part Time RN Emergency Department
Case Manager must have a minimum of 3-5 years of case management
experience working in an inpatient acute care emergency department
setting. The RN Emergency Department Case Manager will work
part-time a total of 16-hour each weekend. This is a Saturday and
Sunday shift, weekends are required.This acute care health system
is located in between the Boston and Providence regions, making it
any New Englander's dream! This area is known to offer a dense
suburban feel where you can find a number of coffee shops and parks
to explore. The region offers great diversity, high-quality public
schools and jobs, and a reasonable cost of living.Salary range
provided is based on a full-time work schedule that includes a
40-hour work week. Actual annual rates may vary based on part time
hours.
