You can also contact us at 508-809-3509. We are seeking a Project Manager to lead project teams working on a variety of projects throughout the region. Ideal candidates will have an architectural degree with 5+ years experience and a desire for career advancement. Project Manager Position: Experience and Education: BA/BS or Bachelors of Architecture from an accredited architectural program with strong AutoCAD production abilities to join our growing firm. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years architectural project experience. Successful candidates must possess a working knowledge of light construction methodologies and have the ability to develop working construction documents, with commercial experience a plus. 5+ years of drafting experience preferred. Candidates must also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and strong AutoCAD skills. Adobe Photoshop and 3D rendering experience a plus. Job Description and Skills: Obtain and assemble data to complete architectural designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary. Ability to climb ladders to access up above ceilings and roofs, as well as having a dependable vehicle, is required. Draw rough and detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings and structures, based on field measurements, preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data, including input from client meetings. Prepare Schematic Design documents: floor plans, exterior elevations and building sections using AutoCAD software. Communicate with client and/or Principal/Project Architect to obtain their input on building design and make changes as necessary. Review/analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs. Lay out and plan interior room arrangements for buildings, using AutoCAD software. Communicate with client and/or Principal/Project Architect to obtain their input on the design and make changes as necessary. Prepare Construction Documents and specifications for permitting and pricing, using AutoCAD software. Prepare colored drawings of building exteriors and interiors for presentation to client. Coordination with structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fire protection engineers and incorporate designs/layouts/details in Construction Documents. Construction Administration: Review and process shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with Construction Documents and specifications. Represent firm on construction site, ensuring builder compliance with design specifications and advising on design corrections. Prepare field observation job reports.
