Job Description:
As a Senior Asset Manager at Clean Harbors, you will oversee the
lifecycle management of our fleet of specialty vehicles and
equipment used in environmental, energy, and industrial services.
Your role is pivotal in optimizing asset utilization and
profitability while ensuring compliance with environmental and
safety standards. You will lead a team dedicated to maintaining
vehicle efficiency and readiness, aligning with our mission to
protect the environment through sustainable practices. Develop and
execute asset management strategies to maximize ROI and extend the
lifecycle of all fleet vehicles and equipment. Implement best
practices for asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal, while
ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Collaborate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to
forecast needs, budget appropriately, and reduce costs. Analyze
data from vehicle and equipment use to report on performance
metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and influence
future purchasing decisions. Manage and mentor a team of asset
coordinators and maintenance staff, promoting a culture of safety
and continuous improvement. Coordinate with environmental safety
officers to ensure all fleet operations adhere to the company’s
sustainability and environmental policies. Strong leadership and
cross-functional team management skills. Expertise in lifecycle
management of automotive and industrial equipment. Proficiency in
using asset management software and data analysis tools. Excellent
budget management and cost optimization abilities. Knowledge of
regulatory requirements related to the automotive and environmental
services industries. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from the Institute of
Asset Management (IAM) is preferred. Relevant professional
certifications, such as Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM)
or similar, are advantageous.
