- As Hasbro's global media specialist and lead, the Director of Global Media will serve as the primary point of contact for our global media agency and Hasbro teams to guide best-in-class media strategies globally. The role will be required to manage commercial terms of our agency and set global ways of working to streamline communication and processes in partnership with the VP, Global Consumer Engagement. Serving as a strategic POC for local and global Hasbro teams regarding media buying, the Director of Global Media will work alongside other stakeholders within the Global Integrated Marketing team (Social, Influencers, Analytics) to drive connectivity, integration and innovation for our marketing plans and go-to-market strategies. The role will be required to set media KPIs and co-create media measurement frameworks with our internal marketing analytics team to evaluate performance with a data-led and digital-led approach. Forging relationships and building influence across the organization and within our agency will be key for success - with a strong ability to prioritize, lead projects and deliver business results. A Day in the Life of the Director, Global Media:

  • Primary point of contact for global media agency; leads quarterly media reviews and manages commercial terms of our agreements including fees, scope, and resourcing.
  • Drive global planning principles and media strategies globally - help translate these principles into data-driven frameworks for market investments that can be measured across the world.
  • Forge close relationships with regions to gather feedback and ensure global is making valuable contributions to local teams and strategies
  • Collaborate with Global Brand teams by educating the team on the role of media, creative best practices, and past performance analysis
  • Lead long-term media vision for Hasbro - future proofing media plans for the changing media landscape and recommendation of new global vendors, platforms, and methodologies
  • Lead one direct report (Snr. Manager, Global Media) who will support with projects, reporting and delivery. Strong management and leadership skills to develop talent and assess resourcing gaps or opportunities What you'll bring:
    • 10+ years working across media strategy & execution, running large-scale projects either in-house or as an agency lead for global consumer directed brands, or equivalent
    • Experience leading teams and working in large global organizations, strong understanding of local market nuances
    • Prior experience within Kids & Family industry is preferred - strong understanding of the nuances, ethics and regulations surrounding kids
    • Prior experience managing media agencies with strong understanding of agency structures, fee models and staffing protocols
    • Track-record of contributing to integrated media strategies combining both off and online platforms
    • In-depth understanding of media analytics ranging from media mix modelling through to digital and linear performance metrics.
    • Ability to work closely and effectively with teams in matrix environment internally and externally; influence, manage and collaborate with teams, vendors, and agencies to achieve agreed upon goals with problem solving attitude. Strong relationship skills.
