partnering with YMCA of the USA and KLR Executive Search Group to
bring a highly motivated and proven professional to lead a strong
YMCA in the Pawtucket community.The new Chief Executive Officer
(CEO) will join a financially strong, mission-driven organization
that enjoys a dedicated Board and staff team that have a love for
the community. The CEO serves as the chief executive officer and
reports to and is directly held responsible by the Board of
Directors. The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for key
result areas as established by the Board of Directors.This position
supports the work of the Y, one of the leading nonprofits committed
to strengthening community. The CEO, in partnership with the Board
at the YMCA, sets the strategic direction of the organization;
oversees its financial stability, staffing, development, and
operations; and positions the Y as a community convener and
collaborator to address critical social issues. The CEO works under
the policies, directives, and guidelines of the governing Board of

- Accredited 4-year college degree and or equivalent work
experience.
- Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication
skills and personal values consistent with the YMCA mission.
- Minimum five years prior experience in a senior management role
with a YMCA or related experience at a comparable organization with
direct supervision of multiple levels of staff and employees.
- Fiscally sound business management approach with a proven track
record of budgetary and fiscal management in excess of $6M or more
annually.
- Must have the ability to develop and strengthen community
relationships.
- Have the ability to develop new programs, review and enhance
programs being offered or considered for both economy and the
effectiveness in broadening our engagement in the communities in
which we serve. Essential Functions KEY SKILLS AND ABILITIESThe

projects for new, renovated, or expanded facility. Key

- Develop and Implement a Strategic Plan: Work effectively with
volunteers, community leaders, and key staff, to create and develop
a strategic plan that addresses the needs of the communities served

implementation plan with deliverables, and measurable goals. Key

ManagementSALARY RANGE & BENEFITSResidency Expectation: Living in
the YMCA's service area is requiredSalary Range: $175,000 to
$220,000
- Medical (80% employer paid, 20% employee paid), Vision, Dental
per personnel policy

are met)
